The Book of Ecclesiastes is found in the section of the Tanakh called Ketuvim (writings). It is one of the books of wisdom literature(which also include Job, Song of Songs and Proverbs) so called because they examine life & existential issues about the nature and meaning of life. It is also one of three books attributed to King Solomon.
