Grades: 4-5: The Whole-School Holiday lessons make up a spiral curriculum, in which each lesson focuses on a different aspect of Jewish holiday, value, or key subject. During the time of year from the beginning of Elul until the end of Tishre, Jews check within themselves for the times they have “missed the mark” and not behaved exactly as they should have. In this lesson, we will learn about some others who may have missed the mark. We will also learn the different blessings we say on Rosh ha Shanah and Yom Kippur.
