The What Is? Tallit lesson allows students to understand the meaning of the tallit and the mitzvah of the tallit and tzitzit. The lesson offers two activities. The first involves mastering the art of tying a tzitzit. The second is a two-part exploration of the meaning and purpose of the tallit through rabbinic and biblical texts.
