The Family Learning Project: Israel—A Personal Connection allows families to learn about and experience a personal connection with the Jewish homeland, Israel. In this lesson, family members will talk about their hopes as a lead into Israel’s national anthem, Hatikvah, and Rick Rechet’s original song about the hope of Israel. Families will take a personally guided Israel Morph of Israel and create their own piece of Mizrah art.
The Family Learning Project: T’shuvah. T’shuvah, return, is one of the central requirements of Yom Kippur. But learning to do real t’shuvah is not something that is specific only to Yom Kippur. In this Family Learning Project lesson participants learn about the ways we “miss the mark” by not acting as our best selves, and the ways we “hit the mark” by considering our actions and doing things the right way.
