Zoom Family: Havdalah unit is designed for entire families with first to sixth graders and their parents This lesson is hands-on, experiential, program-based, informative, and fun. Our goal is for your congregation’s families to“expand their participation in Jewish life” while building a community with the other families in their zoom school cohort
During this lesson, families will learn about the customs and celebration of Havdalah as it ends the holiness of Shabbat. Participants will create their own Havdalah candles and end the session experiencing Havdalah as a group.
