Grades: 6-Adult Think Prophets is a series of fourteen lessons that provide a patchwork opportunity to study the third of the Bible known as "The Prophets."
This lesson begins, "There are two different Elijahs. One is in the Bible. The other grows from the Bible into folk stories and legends." This lesson expands this sentence by following the adventures of Elijah that are presented in the Torah and matching it with folktales and Talmudic images that grow from these accounts. The lesson is designed to present two nonrelated images of Elijah-letting students master both stories.
