Stories We Live by: Unworthy Human Beings is built around a Jewish folk tale that tells the story of Alexander the Great conquering a nation and being confronted by their king. Their king shows Alexander a model of local justice and then confronts the brutality of his process of conquest, suggesting that people were meant to live peaceably together.
